Alopecia areata is a common autoimmune disorder that causes hair loss. It occurs when the immune system mistakenly attacks the hair follicles, resulting in hair loss in small, round patches on the scalp or other areas of the body. Typically, one or more circular bald patches appear on the scalp or other hair-bearing areas, such as the eyebrows, beard, or eyelashes. Good part of the disease is that it is reversible.

  • Medical treatment: Medical treatment options include various oral medicines and topical creams. Based on the severity and extent of hairloss immunomodulators are also added in severe cases to control the hairfall.

  • Intralesional injections: We provide the best and effective treatment of alopecia areata. Intralesional injections are given to hault the progression of the disease and stimulate new hair growth. We generally recommend 4-6 injections at an interval of 3-4 weeks.
